Are you aware of the recent changes implemented for Newcastle Council’s Development Control Plan? Section 3.03 Residential Accommodation is now effective, and applies to attached dwellings, boarding houses, dual occupancies, group homes, hostels, multi dwelling housing, residential flat buildings, semi-detached dwellings and seniors housing.
Changes from the previous DCP include setbacks, minimum site frontages for certain development and various other changes in planning controls.
