Parker Scanlon has over 130 years combined experience in providing a range of surveying services. Our survey section is made up of Registered Surveyors, Graduate and Technician Surveyors. They are supported by a talented team of Drafting staff and Administration support. Parker Scanlon also has a dedicated Survey Manager who is the coordinator for fieldwork and works closely with our builder clients.
Our professional Surveyors expertise has been demonstrated in the successful completion of many challenging projects, such as the set out of various multi shaped concrete skate parks in the region along with large irregular shaped street art in the Honeysuckle precinct in Newcastle.
Registered Surveyors are the only ones legally permitted to mark boundaries of subdivisions in accordance with the Surveying Act. After placement of all the required marks the Surveyor prepares the subdivision plan and the documents to create any restrictions or easements for lodgement with the Land Titles Office.
Once the local council has endorsed its certificate on the subdivision plan and all interested parties have signed it, the Surveyor can have the plan lodged at the Land Property Information (LPI) on your behalf. After some weeks the plan will become registered and title documents issued. The new subdivision is now complete and you are able to transfer ownership of the new lots.
Parker Scanlon have worked on many other different types of surveys such as:
- Detail and Contour Surveys
- Boundary surveys for fencing
- Identification survey
- High-rise constructions
- Marina designs
- Property Council of Australia (BOMA) Surveys for Building Lease Purposes
- High water mark surveys
- Subdivisions including Torrens Title, Strata and Community Title.
- Easement surveys
