Soil Collection Program

Parker Scanlon were involved in the soil collection program for a number of school sites around the local district.  These soil samples are now in the Hall of Service (Hyde Park, Sydney) recognising the 1701 NSW towns, cities and districts given as a place of residence by enlistees to the First World War.

On Sunday 11th November, Mark Scanlon attended a ceremony at Hyde Park that marked the Centenary of the Armistice that ended the First World War and the unveiling of the soil sample collection area.
